Key Ingredients:

Blend of C.acnes Bacteriophages - cutting-edge science-based skincare bioactive, which normally resides on healthy skin. It safely and effectively controls pathogenic strains of C.acnes associated with inflammation and breakouts and restores the natural balance and health of the skin microbiome. 

Epimedium Sagittatum Extract, a new patented ingredient rich in prenylated flavonoids, delivers powerful microbiome-balancing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant benefits. It effectively combats the harmful effects of biofilm-producing C. acnes strains found in blemished skin, such as increased inflammation and reduced antibiotic efficacy. The extract not only reduces six key pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibits enzymes that drive inflammation but also modulates the expression of 11 skin-relevant genes. This includes downregulating collagen-degrading MMP genes, helping to prevent tissue damage and scarring in severely affected skin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is a valuable ally for blemish-prone skin, as it regulates sebum production and reduces inflammation, helping to prevent breakouts and soothe existing blemishes. Additionally, it aids in shrinking pore size and fading post-blemish hyperpigmentation, promoting clearer, healthier skin.

Hyaluronic Acid is a powerful hydrator that helps maintain moisture in acne-prone skin, reducing the likelihood of over-drying. By promoting a balanced moisture barrier, it can also enhance the skin's natural healing processes, leading to clearer and healthier-looking skin.

Blemish Defence Serum Application Protocol

Initial Usage:

  • Apply Eco-Balance Blemish Defence Serum 2 times per day on the clean dry skin.
  • Continue this routine for approximately 3-4 weeks.

Taking a Break:

  • Once there's noticeable improvement, pause the use of the serum for 2-3 or more weeks. This break helps gauge how the skin maintains its condition without continuous application.
    If needed, during this period you may substitute your Eco-Balance Blemish Defence Serum with Intensive Pore&Control Serum. 

Monitoring Progress and Adjusting Use:

  • After the break, resume using the serum only if necessary. Target new pimples by applying the serum directly to them, focusing on spot treatment rather than applying it to the entire face.

This regimen is designed to effectively manage acne symptoms and adapt to the changing needs of the skin through different stages of treatment, ensuring optimal care and maintenance.

Note: While using this product, avoid the concurrent use of other topical products containing retinol and those featuring antibacterial properties, such as skincare items containing benzoyl peroxide or tea tree oil.
