  Did you know that Vitamin E is the most abundant lipophilic antioxidant found in the human skin?
It accumulates in the sebaceous glands and delivered to the epidermis with sebum. Consequently, a dry skin (lack of sebum), doesn`t get enough of Vitamin E from the diet even if the diet is rich with it.
Interesting that many specific forms of Vitamin E are not available from the diet. Thus, the topical application supplies the skin with a variety of vitamin E forms ensuring effective antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging effects. In addition, vitamin E can also absorb the ultraviolet energy, playing important role in photoprotection.
 Another interesting fact is that products containing both vitamin C and vitamin E have shown greater efficacy in photoprotection than either antioxidant alone.
The skin needs Vitamin E because:
- It is a powerful antioxidant. It means that Vit E protects our skin from photodamage, which contributes to the healthy and plump looking skin;
- Boosts the production of collagen, a fiber-like protein that is responsible for maintaining skin elasticity;
- Excellent moisturizer, - reduces wrinkles and keeps the skin youthful-looking;
- Lightens Dark Spots.
